Cannabidiol or CBD is an ingredient extracted from the cannabis plant. It is one of the Chandanide compounds found in the cannabis plant. The other component known as THC is not a CBD type. There are other possible sources of CBD that have shown promise in helping to alleviate some of the more troubling anxiety symptoms. Coconut oil may be helpful in reducing the inflammation associated with Alzheimer’s disease, which is a cause of significant impairment in some patients. More research needs to be conducted on both coconut oil and CBD in order to determine their efficacy in the long term for the treatment of anxiety and other disorders.
