Soccer games tend to go along quite quickly, because the game-time is set and the clock isn’t always running as slow as we think it should. I’ve often thought that some of the games played in the soccer leagues or the international tournaments may be too short or even too brief, while other games may seem like they drag on forever. With that said, there are so many variables that impact the amount of time, added time, and how much soccer games can go on for. And while everyone knows that they need the necessary skills and mental conditioning for a soccer game, some of the other variables, such as weather conditions and physical conditioning, are less known.
First off, you need to consider the weather conditions. It’s been suggested that the World Cup seasons should start earlier in the spring so that teams have more time to prepare for the warmer weather and to adjust to the longer, and often shorter, playing season. And while there is certainly nothing wrong with that particular scheduling model for the different teams, it can create problems in the soccer games, which are generally played on turf. Turf has a reputation for being especially hard on the joints and more prone to injuries. If you’re trying to prepare your team for a game, and you have an idea of how hot and humid the forecast is, you’ll want to shorten the playing season by at least a month – or perhaps even give the teams a few more training sessions per day.
The same NosQQ goes for the temperature. If it’s hot and muggy out in the summer, the soccer field will probably be a lot hotter than it needs to be. If it’s a bit colder, the same goes for the turf. The colder it gets, the more likely it is for players and fans to get hurt in all kinds of ways if the temperatures are not kept at a comfortable level.
One more thing about the soccer games: overtime. Some would say that it should be eliminated, but some would say that it makes the game a bit more exciting. The decision on overtime is really up to the officials, but it is something that most would agree is part of the soccer rules. So what can you do about it? Well, you could move the goal post, but that could cost you a point, which would take away from the winning team’s chance to win.
Soccer is a great sport. It’s just like American football in many ways – fast paced, aggressive action, lots of running and jumping. But unlike with football, in many American football leagues, there is only one team that actually plays all the time. This is because soccer games take place only once a year, usually for three or four weeks during the summer months. So why not take advantage of the fact that there is a high level of professional soccer playing at the highest level, right here in America.
But don’t worry; you don’t have to just show up for 90 minutes and play. You can choose to play for half an hour or less, as long as you have soccer shoes and wear socks that are approved by the referee. Soccer games can last as long as four hours, depending on how intense they get, but most games are played for two halves. So if you’re playing in college soccer games, you might be lucky enough to play for the whole afternoon. College soccer games might seem like little competitions to the casual observer, but they are anything but. They are professional competitions that require skill, strategy, teamwork and endurance, just like the real thing.
