TalentSprint, a talent management company, has signed an agreement with data visualisation and business analytics firm Gramener to create human resources with skills in Big Data and analytics, which is in short supply globally.
The duo would start a certification programme that will equip IT professionals having 5 years of experience with skills to work on big data projects and platforms.
“We have designed an experiential programme that will appeal to working professionals and college students who are seeking high-growth, differentiated careers. We would like to create a pool of experts in big data and analytics,” Santanu Paul, Chief Executive Officer of TalentSprint, said here in a statement on Monday.
According to Gartner, about 4.4 million IT jobs globally would have been created to support Big Data works by the end of 2015. Of these, 1.9 million will be in the United States, with the rest of the world chipping in the rest.
